AJ's MS Warrior Blanket
According to The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, MS is “an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.” MS effects almost one million people in the United States—including my sister, AJ. Each case of MS varies in severity, but no matter what the disease dishes out, those who fight it are warriors. This blanket was born out of a desire to honor my sister and to help raise money toward finding a cure.
$3 from the purchase of this pattern will be donated to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society to help find a cure.
This blanket is made using the corner-to-corner (C2C) method. Previous knowledge of the method is helpful, but I have included a brief primer to help.
It uses 14 skeins of Premier Everyday Worsted Anti Pilling Yarn in Parchment (7), Pumpkin (4), Rust (2), Charcoal (1).
The finished blanket measures 55 x 55” and would be the perfect gift for a loved one or would be great for a fundraising auction.
