This hat is made to have a slouchy fit worn to the back, yet snug around the brim area. I highly recommend the yarn suggested in the pattern…results may vary (especially if using something comparable to RedHeart). Use a soft worsted weight yarn at the HEAVIEST for best results. This hat can easily be made longer or shorter in the back.
