This is the revised version of the earlier published pattern.

This pretty slouchy beret was inspired by delicate Japanese knitted lace and features an intricate every-row lace pattern that flows up from the ribbed edge. Knitted in the round from the band up.

Finished Measurements
19”/47.5 cm brim circumference.
8”/20 cm height from base of ribbing to top center of crown.
Measurements are taken after blocking.
Fits average adult head sizes 20-21”/51-53 cm.

Yarn
Approximately 200 yds/183 m of fingering weight yarn.
1 skein of Knit Picks Gloss (70% Merino Wool, 30% Silk; 220 yards/50g): Masala #25013

Needles
Size US 3/3.25 mm circular 16”/40 cm and set of double-pointed.
Size US 1/2.25 mm: 16”/40 cm circular.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Notions
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

Gauge
27 stitches and 38 rounds = 4”/10 cm on size US 3/3.25 mm needles in Body Chart after blocking.

Construction Notes
This hat is worked from brim to crown in the round.
All rounds on the chart are read from right to left.
Knitters may consider placing markers between the chart repetitions.
