The Alaia bag is a simple bag pattern that works up super quick. I wanted to create a design that looks like tulips. The result is this lightweight bag that can hold a lot of your everyday items.

Strap length - 46 inches (116cm)

Materials and Tools Needed:

3.5mm crochet hook

Yarn: Fingering weight, sock yarn. The yarn used here is Hobbii’s Rainbow Cotton 8/4 (100% cotton) (50g - 1.75oz / 186yds - 170m). 5 colors were used for this pattern. The main color and 4 contrast colors.

Yardage required:
Main color - Nude (003) - 360yds or 340 m
CC1- Pink (045) - 90 yds or 82 m
CC2 - Orange (057) - 90 yds or 82 m
CC3 - Green (084) - 90 yds 82 m
CC4 - Baby Purple (067) - 90 yds or 82 m

Approximately 2 skeins for the main color and less than 1 skein of each of the four contrast colors was used.
