Knit and Crochet this pretty gorgeous one-of-a-kind Alice style head band featuring a pretty corsage flower! It is narrow around the back and graduates to a wider width in the middle at the front. Very pretty! Alana headband pattern gives instructions upon how to knit the headband, a corsage for the side, and to crochet the edging of the headband.

This headband is easy and simple to make with no complex cabling, and will knit up in to a lovely pretty ribbed pattern with a gorgeous pretty Crochet edging! It features a stunning rose corsage! You can also knit this item without the flower if you prefer a plain headband.

Finished item sizes
Pattern is suitable for head sizes - Teen to Adult Ladies. Finished made up item measures: 30cm length laid flat, and 9cm width at widest point.

Equipment needed
(A) 1 x 50g/71m balls - Anchor Style Bamboolo. (Aran / 10 ply weight). Shade 00271 Pale Pink.
(B) 1 x 50g/71m ball – Sirdar Luxury Soft Cotton DK. (DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 665 Green.
5mm needles.
5mm crochet hook.
Round end small tapestry needle.
20mm (width) x 5cm White (hook and loop) Velcro tape.

Knitting skills needed include
Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Purl, Knit in to the stitch bellow the next stitch to be knitted, Pass stitch over, Knit two stitches together, Purl two stitches together.

Crochet skills needed
UK: Slip stitch, Single Crochet, Chain, Treble Crochet.
USA: Single Crochet, Slip Stitch, Chain, Double Crochet.
