ALANI is worked from the top down. The neckband is worked in k1, p1 ribbing and features a button at the neckline. Neckline is shaped by german short rows. All cuffs are knit in k1, p1 ribbing, and since it is knit top-down, it can be tried on at any point after dividing for the sleeves, allowing for easy adjustments to width and length.

1 button approx. 0.5 in (1.25 cm) diameter.

NEEDLES:

Circular needles and DPNS (or magic loop) for the ribbings: US 6 (4,0 mm), for the body: US 7 (4,5 mm), or needle size required to obtain gauge, plus one spare needle.
