Alaska Blue
This lace shawl begins at the neck and is worked top down. There is a continuous seed stitch edge border down each side of the shawl. There are 3 symmetrical triangles with the same lace in all 3 triangles. The increases and the lace are both worked throughout the entire shawl.
The shawl is seamless with the lace worked only on the RS of the shawl.
If you don’t like charts this shawl can be knit totally without using the charts.
The charts and the written instructions both have the bead placement. The pattern includes a link to a tutorial for adding beads, instead of stringing before beginning. If you do not want beads the shawl can be knit without adding the beads.
Written instructions end on page 7. Charts are page 8 through page 11. If using the charts, please print page 2 for the beginning instructions.
