Alaska vest took its name from the Katia Alaska yarn that was used on this project. This is a pattern that was designed for my adult students of a knitting class. The goal was to teach them many elements of knitting at once so I have incorporated differnt patterns and techniques to this vest and it turned out to be a lovely boho- folk vest that we all liked. So here it is. I hope your enjoy it as much as we did knitting it along!
