1 ball of Sensai Ito (60 % mohair, 40 % silk – 25 g/240 m, 262 yd): color 0341 Oriental blue.

The hat is worked holding 3 strands together: 2 Sunday and 1 mohair.
 
Shocking blue hat:
1 ball of Sandnes Garn Sunday (100 % merino – 50 g/235 m/ 257 yd): color 5846.

1 ball of Sensai Ito (60 % mohair, 40 % silk – 25 g/240 m, 262 yd): color 0340

28 sts x 28 rdns = 10 cm/4” of ribbing without any stretching.

Alati means always in Finnish and Alati Hat is a cool statement hat for everyday use.
The hat is worked tight, so it keeps its shape and won’t get too floppy in use. Don’t worry, it stretches in use but won’t be too loose. There are 4 sizes so you can decide what kind of ease you prefer.
 
You can use different kind of yarns and get rid of your left-over balls – just remember to knit the yarn tighter than you would do for a sweater.
 
The dark blue hat is worked with 2 strands of fingering weight merino yarn combined with mohair.
 
The shocking blue hat uses 4 different shades of electric blue and 3 strands of silk mohair and only 1 fingering weight merino strand. The fabric is marled and more interesting, so if you have quite similar left-over balls, use them to get a unique look. The hat is also much more softer than the dark blue hat so they feel different.
