Alauda
Note: I have tried to be as inclusive as possible. However it was not possible to find testers for bigger sizes. I publish the pattern as it is but if you find an error or something wrong for sizes 9 and upper just tell me. I will be happy to refund you the price of the pattern.
Alauda is worked flat from the bottom up, straight to the armholes, in an easy-to-remember small leaf pattern. The back and the fronts are then separated and knitted independently; then joined at the shoulders by a three needles seam. Pick up the stitches around the armholes to work the sleeves in the round from top to cuff. Finally, pick up stitches all along the neckline and the fronts to work the buttoning bands. This is the trickiest part to do and the reason this pattern is rated intermediate.
