A crochet pattern for a sweater style hot water bottle cover, decorated with an applique Albert Eitnstein . Who better to snuggle up to for inspiration on a cold winter’s night?

The pattern contains full step-by-step instructions (US terminology used throughout), tips and photographs as a guide. I have designed this pattern to be manageable at an advanced beginner/intermediate level. To complete it you will need to be able to make a magic ring, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, skip, work around front or back post, work into front or back loops, increase, decrease and have basic sewing skills. There are many useful tutorials online if you are unfamiliar with any of the stitches used.
