Alberta known for its mountains, cattle farmers, oil, and Chinooks. This pattern was inspired by the weather. Chinooks occur when winds coming off the prairies meet the mountain ranges of Alberta. This pattern reminds me of wind and mountains so it is well suited to Alberta. Solid/ semi-solid/ and variegated yarns with not a lot going on are the best for the soft patterning.
