Albie the Polar Bear will be about 36 cm / 10 inch tall from the bottom of his feet to the tip of his ears; about 15cm / 6in wide from arm to arm.
You can make it larger or smaller by adjusting the hook and yarn weight.

You will need to know how to do:
Stitches: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet; Increase & decrease, Crochet in rounds

I have used Passion yarn from Three Bears Yarn, but you can use any yarn and suitable size hook – the size of the finished item will change accordingly.
I try to use a hook one millimetre smaller than the yarn

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Main colour (white): 1.5 balls / 190m / 75g
Red for the hat: 0.5 ball / 63m / 25g
A small amount of black for the nose and eyebrows
5g of white fluffy yarn for a trim of the hat
A pompom for the hat
A Pair of Small Plastic Eyes (8mm)
Crochet hook: 2.5 mm
Tapestry needle,
Filling,
Scissors,
Stitch mark
