The Alder Crescent shawl features beautiful Japanese lace patterns which mimic the lovely flowers that bloom in Spring!

This bit of lace will drape softly round your shoulders, the curve of the crescent keeping it in place. Textured patterns within the Stocking Stitch sections means this pattern looks equally well in plain or more dramatic variegated/speckled yarns.

This shawl uses lace stitch patterns with lace on both RS and WS rows (but there is only lace on a few WS rows). Both charts and written instructions are included for all lace patterns.
