Aldo Hat
Here’s a fun, textured hat to knit for a guy. The hat is knit top down with a circular needle. No double points needed! Begin by knitting a square and pick up stitches around it and knit the sides in the round . Bind off with a twisty, stretchy bind off. You’ll need 120 yards of worsted weight yarn and size 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular knitting needle for a hat that measures 20” around x 9” deep (unstretched). For a larger hat, use size 8 needles and Aran/heavy worsted weight yarn. The 3 page pattern includes written instructions and charts for the side stitches. Look for the matching Aldo Scarf pattern.
