Aldwyn is that classic wardrobe staple for kids, the cabled v-neck pullover, but with a few playful twists: the sleeves are striped, the hem is cabled, and the body features a lattice-style cable with alternating panels of garter and stockinette for unique texture. The pullover includes enough positive ease for growing room and to fit a layer underneath. The comfortable modified drop shoulder shaping in the armholes also ensures that there’s plenty of room to move and play! The cable pattern shows up best in a solid or mostly-solid colorway. Choose a size with approx 2-3” of positive ease in the chest. The size 6-8 yrs is shown with approx 2” of positive ease.

The body is knit in the round from the bottom up to the armholes. The front and back are each knit flat and then seamed at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up around each armhole to work the sleeves in the round down to the cuff. The cuffs feature professional (and optional) tubular edges. Feel free to add a bit of extra length to the sleeves and body for growth spurts!
