I had heard several teachings on the subject “Alef Tav”. I also wanted to design fingerless mitts with stranded color work and combined the two for this pattern.

I recommend some experience with stranded knitting and previous experience in knitting fingerless mitts is helpful as this would not be a beginner’s pattern.

I used one skein of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in Avondale for the main color and another skein in Grand Street Ink. You will not use up either of the two skeins (although not enough for a second pair).

If you wish to make the cuff longer - you may do so.
