lex is a sampler blanket that I started in July 2019, after not crocheting for almost a year.

I decided to ease into crocheting by making a simple corner to corner (C2C) blanket for charity. I opened a pack of the most gorgeous variegated yarn and started my C2C. A few rows in and I was bored.

This was my favourite pattern when I first learnt to crochet – I really wanted to do something that required minimal effort and concentration and what I could do whilst keeping an eye on the kids or just before bed.

I decided to just crochet and see where it took me – turned out to be quite addictive as the blanket grew, I enjoyed this so much that I decided to write up the pattern for you.
