Previously the February 2018 exclusive Shiny Happy World Ami Club pattern, Alexander the Frog is now available for everyone here on Ravelry!

He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My Alexander is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using two colors:

• Kelly Green (140 yards)
• Radiant Lime (25 yards)

He is an advanced beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, crocheting in the bottom and backside of a foundation chain (tutorial included), SC-Attach for seamless limbs (tutorial included), and some seaming.

The pattern has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your own hoppin’ frog.
