ABOUT THE GARMENT

The Alexandra Dress is a simple, throw-on summer dress made for hot days. The dress with its A-line is designed to play around the body - wide enough for good air circulation during the summer, but also for wearing a shirt underneath for a layer look during spring and fall. The bust part is more fitted than the rest of the dress. The dress features a square neckline with three different options for the straps. It also includes three different length options: Mini, Midi & Maxi

SIZE GUIDE

The Alexandra Dress is designed with a fitted shape around the bust and widening around the hips to play around the body. The positive ease around the hips should be approx. 25-30 cm / 10-12 inches after washing and blocking your garment.

The sizes are designed for a bust circumference of 76-82 (82-88, 88-94) 94-100 (100-108) cm / 29.9-32.3 (32.3-34.6, 34.6-37.0) 37.0-39.4 (39.4-42.5) inches
and a hip circumference of 81-87 (87-93, 93-99) 99-105 (105-113) cm / 32-34.5 (34.5-36.5, 36.5-39) 39-41.5 (41.5-44.5) inches.

Finished measurements (after washing and blocking):

Bust circumference: 79 (85, 91) 97 (104) cm / 31 (33.5, 35.8) 38.2 (41) inches

Hip circumference: 112 (118, 124) 130 (137) cm / 44 (46.5, 48.8) 51.2 (54) inches

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

Circular needles 4 mm (US 6) or 4.5 mm (US 7) with length 80 or 100 cm (31.5 or 39.5 inches).

Double pointed needles 4 mm (US 6) or 4.5 mm (US 7) for attaching the straps to the body.

MATERIAL

The amount of yarn is stated according to the length versions and indicated for a height of 170 cm. Two yarn options are given below. You knit either with the Petunia or the Cotton Merino.
