This design incorporates a generous length hat, fur trim, and densely knitted fabric. Together these elements make an extra warm hat.

Three sizes are available from 16 to 22 inch circumferences.

Materials:
Approximately 140 (150, 160, 175) yards of #5 bulky wool roving single ply or loosely spun yarn is recommended. Shown is Paton’s Classic Wool Roving
U. S. Size 11 16-inch circular needles and dpns
1 stitch marker

Measurements:
Small: 16- inch circumference, 9 inches high
Medium: 18- inch circumference, 10 inches high
Large: 20- inch circumference, 10 inches high
Extra Large: 22- inch circumference, 10.5 inches high

Gauge: 12 stitches x 16 rows = 4 inches by 4 inches in stockinette holding two strands of #5 bulky with U.S. Size 11 needles
