This pattern contains two hats that are part of a matching hat and cowl set. The inspiration for them came from an amazing woman currently battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma: Alexandra.

Reflecting Alexandra’s comfortable style and taking into account the side effects of chemotherapy, the hats are designed slouch style, with a double brim. The slouch style minimizes the touch points with the scalp and the double brim will to keep her ears and forehead warm throughout her chemotherapy treatments and beyond.

The hat is knitted in the round, with fingering yarn held double for both MC and CC. DK is a good substitute.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in Alexandra’s name
