This has been designed in the Shetland style, with a centre panel knit in the round, and then edging knitted back and forth with every other row picking up a stitch from the centre panel.

The pattern is provided as both charts and a written pattern.

I used 13 balls of Novita Baby Merino (650g), but obviously any yarn can be substituted to give your desired fabric.

The gauge shown is for the centre panel, knit in the round.
