Meet our Scrap Yarn Challenge set in July, Alexis the Sloth. This stash busting project is perfect if you have some spare DK yarn.

In July I challenged our followers to let me know what they thought 30g of some purple DK yarn, 10g of stormy white DK yarn, and 20g of yellow DK yarn should be made in to and our favourite idea was as knitted up and named after the person who suggested it. So meet Alexis the Sloth, a sleepy sloth hanging from a branch.

M (main colour) 30g of Purple DK yarn
B - a tiny amount of black
C - 10g of Cream DK yarn
D - 20g of Yellow DK yarn
4mm straight needles
2 x 10mm black toy eyes and washers
Florist wire - 60cm in length
Toy stuffing
