I designed this pattern with variegated yarn in mind, but if solid / semi-solid yarn is your cup of tea, then a pair of socks in this pattern will be delicate and elegant. Some test knitters also used self stripping yarn with a great result.

You need to be familiar with sock knitting as I don’ t provide instructions for heel. Use your favourite. For me, the most important thing is that you get the perfect fit for your foot, so choose what you like the most.

I included instructions for a mini-gusset to improve fit for a higher instep if you do a short-row heel.

Instructions for wedge toe given, but please feel free to replace with other toe if prefered.

It comes in three sizes and produces a textured, cushy and stretchy fabric.

Pattern is charted and written out for your convenience.

I would love to see your projects on Ravelry.

Thank you very much to my test knitters. Please have a look at their projects. They are all great.
