The pattern is available in English and German versions; both versions will be available to be downloaded after payment.
This cardigan is made in five panels (Front Left, Front Right, Back, Right Sleeve and Left Sleeve Panels);
It features the delicate crochet shell stitch combined with double crochet, single crochet, a little bit of treble crochet and half double crochet and other basic stitches. In the English version, this pattern uses US terms and includes full written instructions with many pictures and detailed diagrams in the Appendix section.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Size: Customizable
Gauge: not important, however it is important to maintain consistent tension throughout the project
Recommended materials:
- Any sport weight yarn for size XS-M and any DK weight yarn for size XL-XXL; however you may also choose any weight yarn according to your preference
- Any size hook suitable for your choice of yarn, and a 0.5mm smaller hook for ribbing and bands
- Buttons, a pair of scissors, tapestry needle, measuring tape (optional), stitch markers (optional)
Yarn consumption:
- Sample in picture (size XS, half sleeves) used 530gr of Kartopu Bambu (100gr/230m per skein)
- Testers’ samples in size L (half sleeves) used 600gr of Fingering weight yarn, and in size XL (long sleeves) used 710gr/1,875m of DK weight yarn
