This is a crochet top pattern, top-down, raglan construction, worked in rounds and written using UK crochet terminology. A chart is also provided to guide with the sleeve stitch pattern. The stitch patterns used for this pattern include basic dc, and alpine stitch. This pattern is suited to intermediate crocheters.

Materials

3mm crochet hook

This pattern was designed using Birdstreet Yarn 4ply in Medici. This yarn is 75/25 merino/nylon. If using this yarn you will need 3, 4, 4, (4, 5, 5) 5, 5, 6 skeins.
Alternatively, you will need approximately 1250, 1420, 1550, (1650, 1810, 2000) 1950, 2050, 2300 metres.

Gauge and sizing

There are two gauge measurements for this, one for the dc stitches and one for the alpine stitches.
Dc - 31 stitches and 40 rows per 10cm/4in
Alpine - 29 stitches and 32 rows per 10cm/4in.

This garment is designed to be worn with neutral ease in sizes 1, 2, 3, (4, 5, 6) 7, 8, 9 (detailed below). If you are between sizes, I would recommend measuring the distance from the tips of your shoulder bones to choose your size – the decreases for the sleeves after the shoulders will look misshapen if you make too large a size and won’t fit on too small a size.

To fit bust 28-30”, 32-34”, 36-38”, (40-42”, 44-46”, 49-50”) 52-54”, 56-58”, 60-62”
Sample shown in size 3 on a 38” bust.
