This is an easy pattern for a cable scarf which I created for my mom Alice. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly complex design, this pattern is worked flat using only combinations of knit stitches, purl stitches, and repeats of Cable 6 Front, and Cable 6 Back.

Skill Level: Easy

Size: The finished product should measure around 1 foot wide, 6 to 7 feet long.

Recommended Yarn: I used Meripaca by We Are Knitters, but I also recommend Jeans by Lion Brand, or Wool Ease by Lion Brand, or any Worsted Weight yarn.

The pattern is written in standard US terms.
