Alien Autopsy
Who knew that alien invaders would be so short, or so wooly?
Well. I, for one, welcome our alien overlords…even if I did have to dissect one -- FOR SCIENCE!
And now you too can knit up your very own alien autopsy!
Pattern difficulty: Intermediate. To knit this, you do need to be able to:
knit in the round on double pointed needles
work short rows (Wrap and Turn method)
work standard increases and decreases
work knitted I-cord
Worsted weight yarn will produce an alien that is approximately 8 - 9 inches tall. This is perfect for fitting into an 8 x 10 frame. The yarns suggested above are simply the ones used to create the sample. Any worsted yarn will work well.
You can, of course, substitute any yarn you please, but your final size might be different.
This is also available as a kit! https://www.etsy.com/listing/158016595/knitted-alien-auto...?
My patterns are written in a standard format, using common abbreviations. I try very hard to make my patterns clear and easy to follow, with detailed instructions and photo examples, as well as links to helpful online tutorials.
