This creature is an Alien facehugger that will attack you if you’re not careful!

The pattern consists of written instructions (US and UK terminology) for making the Alien facehugger. The separate parts are worked in the round and then seamed together. Gauge doesn’t matter too much as you can adjust the size of the different parts while making them. I used aran yarn (652 m/713 yd in skin colour and 8 m/8.7 yd in red colour) and a 4.5 (G) and 5.0 mm (H) hook to make a facehugger to fit a head measuring 62 cm/24.4” in circumference and 20 cm/7.8” in height.

For this pattern you require:

• Aran/worsted yarn (skin and red coloured)
• 4.5 (G) and 5 mm (H) hook
• Lots of stuffing
• 5 snap fasteners
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle
