This Alien First Mate can be the Kif Kroker to your Zapp Brannigan.

The body is knit in the round but the limbs and shoulder pads are knit flat. The pattern is not difficult, but there are many pieces.

I used worsted weight with 4.25 mm needles for a 14” toy, but any weight yarn can be used as long as you go down a needle size to ensure that the fabric is dense so the stuffing does not show through.
