You can use any weight yarn and hook for this critter. I’ve listed below some examples of what I’ve used.
2 Ply Herschnerrs Afghan Yarn w/ 2.25mm Hook
Bernat Baby Velvet w/ 4mm hook
Double Stranded Baby Velvet and Worsted Weight w/ 5mm hook

You will find modification instructions throughout this pattern to make Gir if you so choose.

You Will Need:
Yarn in weight of your choice and hook size to match.
Polyfil Stuffing.
Darning Needle
Scissors
Optional-Safety Eyes in size of your choice. I personally went for an oversized eye look, but this is really up to your own personal preference
