Alien Squid Worm
description:
This pattern uses a latch hook at the end of the assembly process to add all the fluff seen in the picture. Otherwise it just uses single crochets, double crochets and a little bit of sewing all in the round.
A little about the project:
This little guy is about 18ins long and 3-4in tall. He has a nice fluffy back with a goofy little squid face and felt eyes. What is he? No idea! Honestly I just wanted an excuse to use my new latch hook in a way that wasn’t going to be to crazy or to difficult for a beginner.
This projected uses worsted weight yarn with the primary body color dark navy blue taking up 80% of the yarn I used.
Buying a skein for the body color makes since but I ended up using barely any yarn for the colors on the back so I would just use scrap yarn.
Supplies Needed:
4mm crochet hook
Latch Hook
scissors
Brush with stiff bristles for fraying
darning needle
black, white, and light blue felt
tacky glue
Yarn used:
worsted weight yarn in sky blue, dark navy blue, and blue and purple yarn
lastly I decided to make this pattern free because I am in great need of feedback on how well ive written my patterns. :)
