This cozy cabled hat is a quick and easy knit for intermediate knitters. It is also a great first cable project.

MATERIAL:

• Merino 100% ARAN (100% Merino extrafine, 100g = 200m/219 yards)
• main colour: about 52-56g (colourway: Vanilla Sky)
• contrasting colour: about 15-18g (colourway: Caramel Camel)
• size 5mm (US 8) 40cm (16’’) circular and double pointed needles
• one stitch marker
• one cable needle
• scissors and darning needle

SIZE / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

• Adult’s Medium: to comfortably fit average adult head sizes of about 56cm (22’’) circumference
• Circumference unstretched: 44cm (17.3’’)
• Circumference stretched: 56cm (22’’)
• Length of brim: 4cm (1.5’’)
• Length from brim to top: 22cm (8.6’’)
