This is a circular shawl in which the design was inspired by the character Alistair, from Dragon Age: Origins. This is basically a Pi shawl with a knitted on border using optional beads.

Although this may look a bit complicated, there are rest rounds in between each round of lace, and increases are only worked on eyelet rounds, not in the pattern itself, so the number of stitches per round is consistent during chart knitting.
