Yarn Amounts:
Color A - White - 983 yards
Color B - Dark Pink - 329 yards
Color C - Burgundy - 250 yards
Color D - Medium Pink - 142 yards
Color E - Light Pink - 226 yards
Optional - you may choose to do this in only 2 colors, alternating with a contrasting color.
For example:
1st Color - White - 983 yards
2nd Color - Green - 947 yards
Or you may choose to use a variegated yarn with a solid contrasting color as shown in the first picture. Self striping and ombre yarns are also perfect to use with this pattern. The 4th picture shows how beautiful the back of the blanket is.
Stitches Used - US Terms:
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
FLDC - Front Loop Double Crochet 2 Rows Down
Skill Level:
Confident beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is. I have had several people that were brand new to mosaic crochet try my patterns and each one was able to follow the instructions and were successful in their projects.
