Yarn Amounts:
Color A - White - 182 yards
Color B - Dark Pink - 76 yards
Color C - Medium Pink - 38 yards
Color D - Light Pink - 59 yards
Or use a variegated, ombre or self-striping yarn:
Color A - White (or a solid contrasting color) - 182 yards
Color B, C, D - Use an ombre or self-striping yarn - 173 yards
Self striping and ombre yarns paired with a solid contrasting color are perfect to use with this pattern.
The back of mosaic patterns will be striped giving you a reversible design.
Stitches Used - US Terms:
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
FLDC - Front Loop Double Crochet 2 Rows Down
Skill Level:
Confident beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is. I have had several people that were brand new to mosaic crochet try my patterns and each one was able to follow the instructions and were successful in their projects.
