Alkhally
Amber-colored dunes stretch as far as the eye can see. The wind is given free-hand and forms patterns in the sand. All seems so quiet and immobile. And yet, the surroundings are teaming with tiny life and movement. Stand still for a moment and it will all reveal itself.
The Alkhally cowl is inspired by such dunes, shifting sand and sand ripples. Diagonals are formed by shifting yarn overs and slipped stitches. Horizontal strands creates movement in the cowl as well as a playful mix of colors. The all-over stitch pattern is both fun and easy and it produces a reversible fabric. Alkhally makes the most of variegated yarns and allows you to knit (almost) until you run out of yarn. Join the fun; put those cherished colorways to work!
