All About Bag
This pattern is
available for free.
The All About Bags are knitted in the round, using the helix technique as an easy way of giving the appearance of stripes. I have used six colours, though it is no problem to adapt the pattern to use more or fewer. As only 32m of each colour are needed for the helix body, this is a handy way to use up leftover ends of yarn. Stripes in different weights and textures will also work, though if you plan to felt it, the yarn needs to have a high percentage of wool. These were felted in the washing machine on a hot cycle with towels.
The pattern provides a basis open to modifications and embellishments, hope you enjoy it.
