Vests are probably my favourite piece of clothing: versatile and without the warmth, yarn, or hassle of sleeves! This one reminded me of Mediaeval armour. And then my daughter, who has a very different aesthetic than mine, admired it. So good news! I had finally designed a vest that was multi-generational. Hence, the All Ages vest.

I do realize that most of us have difficulty affixing zippers to sweaters, but—because they are sewn on top of the knit fabric—these are very easy to apply.

Yardage required for 5 sizes are as follows:
515 (570, 630, 685, 740) Aran weight yarn.

The gauge over stockinette (15 sts) is for an Aran weight yarn, but the gauge over seed will be wider (13.5 sts).
