This beginner shawl pattern is designed to blend together differing colors of hand painted, short repeat yarns that ordinarily would not blend together. The stitch pattern adds texture while the garter stitch makes the project sail along.

The pattern includes instructions for making a fingering weight version using size 7 and 13 needles and a DK weight version using size 9 and 15 needles. The fingering weight version is a little larger. Gauge is not important.
