Main yarn needed is 1 skein (218yds/50g) of KnitPicks Comfy fingering weight. It’s 75% cotton, so I’d class it a “stout” yarn for it’s weight category. If you use a different fiber content/brand, overestimating the yardage needed may save you a game of yarn chicken.
Uses 175yds (160m) for the body of the smaller version; 215yds (196m) for the larger one.

For the lettering: uses about 10-15yds (generous estimate) of KnitPicks Shine sportweight.
