All-in-a-Row Scarf
Fair warning, the “rolled” version scarf will curl up in a tube shape, and that is because of the stockinette stitch used. It is meant to do so. OK, it was actually meant to be flat, but the rolled-up shape is quite nice as well and a happy accident! If you prefer a flatter scarf, see the pattern for the flat version also included on this page. It uses a garter stitch edging all the way around to keep the primarily-stockinette scarf from curling. As a result it is a little wider than the other. Length may be customized to whatever length you see fit.
It is a simple pattern that will (or should) work with DK, aran, or worsted weight yarn. The sample in the photo was made with King Cole’s Riot DK (really fun yarn, you should all get some!). The scarf may not curl as much depending on what type of yarn you use.
