All Meshed Up was created specifically to use Knitted Wit’s Sixlets - six mini skeins of a gradient in one of 4 different weights. It’s a fast and fun project, and would make a perfect gift for anyone, even (or maybe most especially) YOU! All yardage info, needle sizing, and gauge listed below.
Yarn
Fingering weight version: 270 yards fingering-weight yarn, 45 yards each of 6 colors, or 1 Knitted Wit Gumball Sixlet.
DK weight version: 240 yards dk-weight yarn, 40 yards each of 6 colors, or 1 Knitted Wit Double Bubble Sixlet.
Worsted weight version: 210 yards worsted-weight yarn, 35 yards each of 6 colors, or 1 Knitted Wit Gobstopper Sixlet.
Aran weight version: 150 yards aran-weight yarn, 25 yards each of 6 colors, or 1 Knitted Wit Jawbreaker Sixlet.
Needles - make sure you use the correct needle size to get gauge
Fingering weight version: US5/3.75mm needle for small circumference knitting.
DK weight version: US6/4mm needle for small circumference knitting.
Worsted weight version: US8/5mm needle for small circumference knitting.
Aran weight version: US9/5.5mm needle for small circumference knitting.
Gauge - all measurements after blocking
Fingering weight version: 20 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette st / 16 sts = 4”/10 cm in mesh.
DK weight version: 18 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette st / 15 sts = 4”/10 cm in mesh.
Worsted weight version: 16 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette st / 10 sts = 4”/10 cm in mesh.
Aran weight version: 15 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette st / 10 sts = 4”/10 cm in mesh.
