Mix tape yarn is a new thing for artisticyarnbyabi.com and it took quite a bit of developing and testing.

The result is yarn that is professionally spliced together abolishing the need to knot, change colors, or work in ends!

All Pix Mix tape yarn is like the “Mix Tape” yarn, but all picture yarn! Your ball of “All Pix Mix Tape Yarn” will come with 200 yards of solid white for cuffs, heels and toes.  Each ball has at least 20 repeats of picture yarn.  Some picture yarns will occur more than once.  The yarns are professionally spliced together to form a strong, tiny, tuck-able tuft that is invisible on the outside of your project.  No changing yarns except for cuffs heels and toes!!!

This makes adorable socks and mitts and if you want to avoid interrupting the pattern you can always do a forethought or afterthought heel which is what I did with the socks in the picture.  The socks are an average representation of what you will get with mix tape sock yarn, but no two pairs will ever be exactly alike.

This yarn is a BLAST to knit with, you never know what is coming next!  Center pull if you want the images to be top down, and outer pull if you want them bottom up.
