All Purls Summer Jacket
The All Purls Summer Jacket is a light, throw-on jacket…..perfect for cooler Summer days. The design is inspired by my knitting journey and has some lovely simple parts to it together with techniques that I’ve found super useful to learn. The Back and Front sections are all knitted separately, from the bottom to the top, and then joined together at the shoulders. After sewing up the sides, the body edge is finished with a beautiful I-cord detail. Finally the collar and 3/4-length sleeves are added.
Sizes & Measurements
XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL
Finished bust circumference of the sweater (including positive ease) is as follows:
Inches: 40 (44) 48 (52) 56 (60) 64 (68) 72
CM: 101.5 (112) 122 (132) 142 (152.5) 162.5 (172.5) 183
Designed to fit a bust circumference of:
Inches: 28–30 (32–34) 36–38 (40–42) 44–46 (48–50) 52–54 (56–58) 60–62
CM: 71-76 (81.5-86.5) 91.5-96.5 (101.5-106.5) 112-117 (122-127) 132-137 (142-147) 152.5-157.5
The All Purls Summer Jacket has approximately 10–12 inches (25.5–30.5 cm) of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 10–12 inches (25.5–30.5 cm) larger in circumference than your bust measurement. So if your bust measures 34 inches/86.5 cm, knit a size S to give a finished circumference of 44 inches/112 cm.
