The “All-Season Vest” features a rounded, shallow V-neck with slightly wide neck ribbing and subtle drop shoulders. It is worked top-down.
To start, the back shoulders and the back neck are shaped using short rows, then worked to the underarm. Stitches for the front are picked up from the back shoulders, then both fronts are worked flat while shaping the neck and are joined at the bottom of the V-neck. The front is joined to the back at the underarm to be worked in the round. After the underarm gussets are shaped, the body is worked seamlessly to the hem. The armhole and the neck ribs are worked from stitches picked up and are worked in the round.
The vest is available in two lengths: a standard length that pairs well with any outfit and a cropped length that is convenient for long skirts and high-waisted pants. The ribbing at the armholes also varies in length to match the body length. Since it is a top-down garment, you can try it on and adjust the body length to your preference (note that this may affect the required yarn amount).
Alone in summer and over any garment in other seasons, you can enjoy this vest all year round by choosing the size and yarn that suit your style.

The model is 162 cm / 5’4” tall and is wearing the standard-length ver. in size 3, with approx. 20.5 cm / 8” of ease in the bust. For the cropped-length ver., the model is wearing a size 2, with approx. 13 cm / 5” o f ease in the bust.

GAUGE

US 6 / 4 mm circular needles, 80 cm / 32” or longer.

All-Season Vestは、丸みのある浅めのVネックに少し幅広のネックリブ、控えめなドロップショルダーを組み合わせた、トップダウンで編むベストです。
編み方は、まず後ろ肩を引き返し編みで作り、往復編みで脇まで編みます。後ろ身頃の衿から前身頃をそれぞれ拾い、衿の形を作りながら編み進め、後ろ身頃と繋げて輪にします。その後、脇のマチを作り、裾のリブまで編みます。アームホールのリブと衿は拾い目をして、それぞれ輪で編みます。
どんな服にも合わせやすい標準丈と、ロングスカートやハイウエストのパンツに便利なクロップド丈の二種類を用意しました。アームホールのリブも、それぞれの丈に合わせて異なる長さにしています。トップダウンのベストなので、編んでいる途中で試着をしてお好みの丈に変更することも可能です（その場合は糸量が変わるのでご注意ください）。
夏は一枚で、それ以外の季節はレイヤードスタイルで。シーンに合わせてお好きなサイズや糸を選んでいただくことで、オールシーズン楽しんでいただけるベストです。

“All-Season Vest”는 깊지 않은 브이넥 조끼로 넥라인에 도톰한 고무단이 들어가는게 특징이며 어깨가 팔을 살짝 덮습니다. 탑다운(위에서 아래로 떠내려 가는 방식)으로 진행되며 몸통은 원형으로 뜹니다.
제일 먼저 뒷판 어깨와 목파임을 경사뜨기(short rows) 방법을 이용해서 모양을 잡은 후, 언더암으로 떠내려갑니다. 앞판은 뒷판 양쪽 어깨에서 코를 주워서 진행하며, 평면뜨기로 넥라인의 모양을 잡은 후 브이넥 끝점에서 합칩니다. 앞판과 뒷판을 합친 후에는 원형으로 뜨면서 코줄임을 이용해서 거싯을 만듭니다. 이후부터는 원형으로 떠내려갑니다. 이후 넥라인과 암홀에서 코를 주워 고무단을 원형으로 떠서 마무리합니다.
이 조끼는 두 가지 길이 옵션이 있습니다. 어떤 아웃핏과도 어울리는 스탠다드 버전과 롱스커트나 하이웨이스트 팬츠와 어울릴만한 크롭 버전이 있습니다. 두 가지는 디자인게 어울리게 암홀 고무단의 길이가 다르게 제안됩니다. 탑다운 방식으로 진행되므로 작업중에 입어보고 원하는 길이로 조정이 가능합니다(다만 길이 조정은 전체 실 소요량에 영향을 미칠 수 있음).
여름엔 단독으로 다른 계절에는 다른 옷과 레어링해서 자신의 취향에 맞게 스타일링해 보세요.
