This pattern reminds me of a crossword puzzle; many small squares. Not that I do them, but I love the look. It’s absorbent, attractive, and will spend much time with you in the kitchen. I’ve designed this to be sturdy.

This pattern uses knit and purl stitches only. The only other thing you’ll need to know is how to cast on, bind off, and weave in ends. This is a 4 row repeat pattern.
