All Terrain Shawl
The All Terrain Shawl was inspired by the magnificent yarn spun at the GOR Woollen Mill. This yarn is produced in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. It is non-mulesed, traceable and produced completely off-grid. How cool is that?!
Supplies
5mm crochet hook
Darning needle
Yarn
GOR Woollen Mill Pure Merino fingering weight (Australian 4 ply), 100g/400m/437y. One skein each of Leaf Green, Raspberry and Natural.
Use any yarn you can achieve a similar gauge with.
Measurements
Wingspan inner: 150cm/59in each side, 300cm/118in total
Wingspan outer: 170cm/67in each side, 340cm/134in total
Spine total: 42cm/16.5in
Skills
Only Tunisian simple stitch is used for this shawl. Simple increases and decreases are included as is a modified return pass to join each row in each panel as it’s made (same as for Entrelac).
