All That Remains
What to do with leftover yarn from a multicolor cowl or shawl?
Knit this shawl!
I wanted a shawl that would allow me to easily use the yarn that remained. Loving asymmetric boomerang shawls, I knew just what style of shawl to design. Most of this shawl is knit in garter stitch, which makes it easy and almost effortless. A simple lace repeat at the ending adds a bit of interest.
Feel free to knit the shawl exactly as written, but I would love to see you dig into your remnant stash, unleash your creativity, and use this as a template. I have included modifications and a table of stitch counts that will help you maximize the yarn that you have and allow you to have as much flexibility as possible.

One size

Gauge
Garter knit flat after blocking: 22 stitches/4 inches (10 cm); 48 rows/4 inches (10 cm).
For once, I will say that gauge is not crucial to this project, but a different gauge will affect yardage and final measurements.
